To start up, in order to overcome panic attacks you need to understand what it is. panic attacks is that sudden build up of pressure that you get immediately. You feel trapped, you can’t breathe and also sometimes you cannot move. Most people confuse this to be a heart attack and whatever is running in their minds is that they cannot die at that moment because they have a lot to do. If you ever got into their heads at that moment you would laugh yourself out thinking what big fools they are. All you need are just simple well laid procedures that help you overcome panic attacks or even panic attacks.
First of all you need to make yourself comfortable. Loosen your blouse, shirt or rather that tie you are wearing. Put yourself in a comfortable position by either laying flat on your back or your belly, whatever makes you comfortable, then stretch out your legs. This will help you become more relaxed and then you can start some meditation techniques that can help you relax emotionally and enable you to easily overcome panic attacks. Start by thinking of positive things. Try to erase all the negative thoughts. Think that the panic attacks will pass. Do not concentrate on the pressure building up in your chest that time or even the pain you feel if at all there is any. Erase these negative thoughts by thinking of good and relaxing things such as your children, your boyfriend, your family or other things that usually take you to that happy place. You can also use self calming talk that helps to distract you from your surroundings. This talk can involve sentences like;
“I will get through this.”
“I am in a safe place right now.”
“I feel good.”
All the above sentences and many more will help to distract you from the environment. This distraction helps to reduce your breathing rate which in turn reduces your metabolism. With a reduced metabolism your heartbeat also reduces to catch up with your breathing rate. With all this happening at once you get to control your mind and you are able to overcome panic attacks. This is the best and the most natural way of overcoming panic attacks. This method has proved to be the most effective over many other methods that have been surpassed to help overcome panic attacks.
This method is usually most preferred because it does not need any special machinery and it is also not costly at all. All you need is a few minutes of your time to get better. There over a million people who can be strong witnesses that these simple steps have made them better in just few seconds and this just proves how effective relaxation and meditation are in overcoming panic attacks.
